PROUD Academy CT champions an inclusive, affirming education for LGBTQ+ students and allies in a community free from bullying. Our mission is to empower students through a safe, supportive space where they explore and affirm their identities while achieving academically.

Patricia Nicolari, head of PROUD Academy, has advocated for LGBTQ+ education for 40 years. Inspired by coming out in 1997, she's established GSAs and led inclusivity initiatives.
